Week #8 Spin this Xmas Card - Circle on a card

This very clever and fun card was made by Vince (he's made so many Christmas cards I might as well show you them - wink, lol !). The theme this week is to use a circle anywhere on your card could be the matting or an added embellishment as long as it's circular that's fine! Have fun with this challenge you can add your entry with Mr Linky, just put your name and a link to your card picture or your blog entry up to you ! Thanks for playing the challenge.

Week #7 RED Christmas card - The Angel Company Stamp

Vince made this very bright RED card and I just fell in love with it. So this week the challenge is to use RED cardstock for your Christmas card. Have fun playing the challenge.

Vince used TAC (The Angel Company) stamp with a Santa and snow flakes.

As usual add your link to Xmas greeting card you made this week in the comments section. You don't have to follow the challenge by the way, you can add any Christmas card you've made. The challenge is there to tickly your inspiration...

Week #6 Vintage Santa Card - Bo Bunny Homespun Holidays Toile paper

Edit: OMG I scheduled this post to show up on the 9th of March, that's why it never appeared yesterday ! LOL My mistake, just noticed it right this minute, I hope it shows up now ?!?

I always liked this BoBunny paper (Homespun Holidays Toile), it gives me the feel of a by-gone era and at the same time trigger memories of time spent in North America in my youth, using wooden tobaggan with my sister and having fun in the snow. I needed something to go with that paper and I came across these Mamelok victorian cut out of a vintage santa, the pinkish-red of his coat seemed to match the paper so I went for it. I created an extra accent with the leftover paper using the Bows template from Hot Off the Press and adding a bow brad (HOTP). I've matted the bow twice and edged it a bit with Close to My Heart daisy white ink pen; to make it stand out somehow. It seems to have done the trick !

As usual post a comment and add a link to your weekly Christmas creation, don't forget the gallery will be shown on Week #9 ! Have fun building up your Yuletide stash ! wink

Week #5 Polar Bear Christmas Card - Made by Vince

Rummaging through our Xmas cards box I found this beautiful card Vince made a few months ago, completely forgot about it and I'm glad I got it now. He used hammered cardstock and created the paws and 'face' from scracth using plastic goggle eyes and this shiny scrap of cardstock for the scarf. Now when you put the card upright the paws just flop forwad ! Super Cute !

You'll see our 4 weekly gallery just below and I just want to thank Cathy, Phree, Holly, Tracy (Ella Bella) and Oliva ! Thank you all for starting your Christmas cardmaking so early and getting into the spirit of building your stash.
