Week #17 Santa's Shirt Card - HOTP Shirt folding Tutorial or put a Santa anywhere theme

I thought I would give you a more challenging challenge this week ! LOL I've used an origami shirt tutorial on the paperwishes webisodes website where the lovely Paulette shows you how to go about and fold paper to create lovely shirts. There's also a Santa shirt with the extra trimming on which I've added some snow glittery glue. I used a shiny black cardstock for the belt and a buckle I already had from another kit I covered with my newly purchased cosmic shimmer mist in silver. For the buttons I used those black pearl adhesives from Kanban, paper is HOTP from a 12X12 kit (I cut it down to 8.5 X 11 inches). Now if you don't want to do a shirt this week that's ok just make sure there's a Santa somewhere on your card.

As usual Mr Linky to link to your creations and leave a comment. I'm a bit late today to post my challenge as the glue wouldn't dry yesterday night so my apologies to the keenest of you who wrote me a couple of emails.

This is the last chance to add your entries for that lovely blog candy christmas papercraft book by Judy Balchin so either/or leave comments or add your card entry. I'll be announcing the winner on week #18. Now I received some inquiries about the gallery not being shown, as soon as I have enough entries I'll create a lovely gallery because as it stands (I don't blame you really) Christmas is not high priority amongst cardmakers, I do want to thank everyone who is soldiering on ! Week #16 Tea Bag Folding Christmas Tree Card - Tea Bag Folding or/and Unusual papers

This week I needed to do two things: my christmas card challenge with Tea Bag foldings and add my paper weaving technique ( I say 'my' as I haven't seen done anywhere else so I kinda like to think I've done it first). Now not only you have as a theme this lovely tutorial from Nina to follow but also my own paper weaving technique using the Easy Stitch Template from Hot Off the Press ( HOTP 7328 ). Alternatively you can use any unusual papers you wouldn't automatically associate with Christmas. I know it's a toughie but you can do it.

Papers, and star brad; all Hot Off the Press.

As usual just leave your link using Mr Linky and you can comment too. Just a quick reminder you don't have to follow the weekly themes so if you've made a Xmas card just bring them on.

You still have another Monday and then that's it, I'll randomly select someone for that lovely Judy Balchin Christmas Paper Craft Book which is this month blog candy. Thank you all for playing. X Fab

Week #15 Poinsettia Christmas Card - Square card or Fabric/Paper Xmas flowers

I hope you had all a lovely Easter and I know that you're all busy so don't worry too much, I'll keep going and when you're good & ready come back and post your Christmas creations. I've used Hot Off the Press material (papers, brads and poinsettia fabric flowers) this week (Hi to everyone at the Paperwishes forum btw).

Our theme is either/or use a square card, utilise some fabric or paper flowers !

As it is customs now, add your link to Mr Linky (please make sure you add the link to your post [permalink] and not to your generic blog please). The reason I need a permalink is by the time I reach your blog you probably have posted a dozen times and it's hard for me to hunt down your entry so make sure your link looks like something like this http://yourblogname.blogspot.com/yourentry.html and NOT only http://yourblogname.blogspot.com .

Don't forget about the blog candy (lovely Christmas paper craft book).

Week #14 Sugar Cane, Hat, Candy and Stocking for Christmas Card - Brads and/or Tall theme - Blog Candy !

This week I wanted to create something with some tall cardstock I have and I thought it would make it a bit different than the usual square card, so there you have it a TALL card can be used for your Christmas card this week. Or if you have some red, green or Xmas themed brads you're dying to use then, I've answered your prayers ! wink.

Papers 'Very Merry', an old red folder that needed recycling, brads are Hot Off The Press and the stamped sugar cane stamps is from Stampin' Up.

I completely forgot to announce what the 'blog candy' was all about a few weeks back well it's a book entitled 'Papercrafts for Christmas' (see picture below) I will send it to whoever have made Christmas cards, put my Xmas Challenge banner on their blog and left a comment. It will be a random pick. But for each action you make you'll earn an entry....so keep making your Yuletide stash ! LOL

It's a lovely book that gave me so much inspiration you can copy the various projects or make them your own. I really enjoyed that's why I'm getting an extra one for one of you lucky Christmas card makers ! LOL

As usual use Mr Linky to add your entries and you can also add a comment the usual way. I'll never get tired of reminding you that the weekly theme is totally optional so you can create any cards you want and add them to the challenge, the more the merrier.
