Made two snowflakes out of a template and the greeting stamp was from stash too.

June Christmas Card Challenge/ Ho Ho Ho Card - Sentiment Theme

June is here ! Hurray !

And what do we do ? Christmas cards.....double hurray.

I always get a strange Facebook look when I mention my challenge but we, dedicated Xmas crafter, don't mind. We love making Season's greeting cards and that's that.

This month Theme is 'Sentiment' just use a fun sentiment like ho ho ho or anything that you have to means Christmas to you. Just add your crimbo card below using the inlinkz link. There's a change this month first of all you need to select a thumbnail of your card but also you need to make you link back to my blog in your own post on your own blog before submitting your card. Most of you already do that. Also please use a permalink (?) to link to your post.

I've just done the draw using, here's the result:

So Sari I need your deets and the Book PageMaps 2 will find its way to your home in Finland :)

Wow another two weeks have passed it goes so quickly June at our door...

I used all Hot Off the Press supplies for this card (surprise surprise). Spring things is the template used to make the window/aperture which is attached inside the card giving you that springy effect. It took me the good part of an hour to finish this card as there's so much cutting to do...

You should have arrived to this blog from Becky's (N.10), you're currently on mine Fabrizio Martellucci (N.11) and your next blog to hop to is N.12 : leslie-rahye ! Have fun everyone !

Don't forget that this blog has also a Monthly Challenge and you can find the current May Christmas Card challenge here; don't forget this challenge of mine is 'fortified' with blog candy this month ! ;)

May Christmas Challenge with Blog Candy - Pastel Colours and/or Embossing

Hello everyone ! It's May the 1st already so happy May Day ! It also means there's another Christmas greeting card  challenge for this month, hurray!!!

There's also BLOG CANDY this month. Since I'm going to have my own show ( with Fab) on May the 6th at 9pm Eastern (May the 7th 2am UK) and I'm going to give away a copy of Becky Fleck book Pagemaps 2 during the show, I thought I would give another copy this month among those of you who participate in my Christmas challenge as a way to say 'Thank you' ! :)

As usual just enter your Christmas card using Inlinkz (below) and one person will be picked at random at the end of the month.

Festive Friday Blog Hop - Our challenge is boosted by the lovely Terri

I'm so excited this Friday as our own challenge is following a blog hop from now on so you'll get extra cards from myself during the month to inspire you and from the other people in the blog hop.

So please follow those blogs as there are very talented paper crafters out there who are making a Crimbo/Christmas card on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month. So you'll get three cards from me during the month : one for my challenge which you still have to, have to, have to participate in, and the the blog hop which you just have fun perusing to give you inspirations ! :)

This card happened on a whim, I just went with it. It must me the weirdest card I've made with so many strange elements on it. Totally different and the little jingle bell really rings ! ;)

You have arrived on this blog from Becky (N.10 on the list) and I'm the next blog to visit is Debbie (N. 12) ! Have fun and thank you for visiting all our blogs.

Want to add this blog hop to your own blog to share the fun just add this code in your post (make sure you select the 'edit html' (next to compose) in blogger

April Christmas Challenge - Baubles and Ribbons

I know I've been naughty and can't leave this kit alone. Gorgeous Stampin Up Christmas papers and toppers (now retired :( ).

THIS MONTH THEME is making 1 or 4 Christmas cards with Baubles or/and Ribbon (any size).

As we get closer to Xmas the quantity will increase as April is month four (4) but you can make also only one card. But for those of you who wants to increase their Crimbo cards stack then here's your chance. You can add 1 or all 4 cards using Inlinkz. You have a whole month to add your creations so no worries. Also if the theme leaves you uninspired then as long as you make a Christmas card you an add it....I'm that flexible ! :)

Thank you for joining my challenge ! :)

February - Merry Christmas Dazzles Greeting Card - Peel Off/Outline Sticker Month Theme

THIS MONTH THEME is 'Use peel-offs/outline stickers'

I have to admit I use to avoid peel-offs like the plague in the past but now I'm a convert. I like how they can gather a style and jazz up a card.

I used some gorgeous Hot Off the Press Papers here and their own line of peel-offs called 'Dazzles'. I blinged the rest of the card as it didn't need much. It's a HUGE card standing tall at 7X10 inches ! :) So I believe I used those 12X12 papers to their full advantage.

So this month theme is use peel-offs and you can make either one (1) card or two (2) !

Thursday, 27 January 2011

Hurray ! The Christmas Challenge is back in February ! :)

I'm back having fun creating Christmas greeting cards and would like to apologise for last year hiccup when the challenge suddenly stopped....I was burnt ! :(

So this year in order to avoid a repetition I decided to return to the monthly format whereas we all create either one card or the amount of card for the 'month number': February being number 2 so two cards etc...

I will leave it up to you to decide if you want to join with one card or the extra amount. I will however post any extra Xmas cards I make during the month.

I hope you'll join me on Tuesday February the 1st showing your Xmas cards and having fun. I will also announce a fun blog candy of a brilliant book which is close to my heart.......because I'm in it ! LOL

In the meantime I hope you'll enjoy this card using Top Line Creations papers (now gone) and a Hot Off the Press template called Kirigami Paper Art (HOTP 7357), the bling is Kanban 'bling' gems.
